Two separate one day courses using Photoshop CS5 are offered; The cost of each is R1, 250.00. Each course is modular in design allowing you to do each module at your leisure. They can be done separately or together.

One day Courses held in Johannesburg, in small groups.

Module (A) What happens after you have taken the photo; the Download, File management, workflow, saving and image processing.
Module (B) Advanced Photoshop, Layers, Layer Masks, HDR processing etc.

This is a hands - on, practical & interactive course held in small groups to maximise personal tuition. It will take you from the point of downloading your images, through the necessary processing steps to the point of Printing.

Processing multiple files, Stacking,
File management & Indexing with Key words,
Your Digital Workflow to ensure maximum benefit and image quality.
Preparing Photos for print.

Advanced processing in Adobe Camera Raw (ACR)
Correct colour casts, lighten & darken selected areas.
Working with Layers - Non destructive Image Correction ( Remove blemishes, straightening an image, resizing & resampling)
The use of Layer Masks
Effective sharpening
Overlay of images
Retouch portraits, Selecting hair
Creative effects by using Filters, Changing selected colours, effective Montages, ... the artistic expression
HDR (High Dynamic Range) Processing

The course venue; Randpark Golf Club (Cresta/Windsor area of Johannesburg)
We use their conference facilities with very good security.
Course times are from 8am to 5pm on a Saturday or Sunday

WHAT EQUIPMENT IS NEEDED

A Laptop with Photoshop CS5 loaded would be ideal but not necessary as the notes are very comprehensive and this can be used on your home computer.
Photoshop CS5 is available as a free 30 day trial version download from WWW.ADOBE.COM

Tuition is given using Photoshop CS5 software. Other versions of Photoshop are totally acceptable necessary processing steps for any corrections or adjustments to final storage and print. Learn how to apply these steps and adjustments to give your images that WOW factor.
